Marvelous "Meraviglioso" Murals - Victory K-8 School
A mural project - a collaborative effort funded by a grant from the Artists Working in Education (AWE), a nonprofit organization that sponsors artists to work creatively with children. Victory K-8 School art teacher, Wendy Cooper applied for the grant. Laura Easey-Jones and Caitlin Carroll became artists in residence and worked on the murals with Wendy Cooper, students in the K-5 Italian immersion classes and the school's 6th and 7th graders.
