WisItalia celebrated its 7th annual Awards Banquet on May 22, 2010, at the Italian-American Society of Kenosha, 2217 52nd Street, Kenosha, WI.
The WisItalia Teacher of the Year Award went to Joanna Stenson, who teaches at St. Joseph Middle and Senior High Schools in Kenosha.
WisItalia honored Kenosha resident, Vincent F. Ruffolo, with its President's Award for promoting the teaching of the Italian language in the Kenosha school system.
And, Rita Prigioni was the recipient of the WisItalia Outstanding Service Award for her work in developing, maintaining and managing the WisItalia website http://www.wisitalia.org.
