Carly HansonCongratulations to Carly Hanson, this year's Festa Queen! As a Monona Grove High School graduate who attended MATC, she enjoys being a care giver as an assistant teacher at Gingerbread House Day Care Center. Besides volunteering as a YMCA Youth Coach, her hobbies include exercising, dance, music, and exploring "fun places to be."

Carly rode in the Memorial Day Parade in Monona on Monday, 5/30 in the il Corvo Pedicab (Larry Godding, charioteer). The 1.5 mile parade route started just past Monona Grove High School and traveled south on Monona Drive, then went left on Pflaum Road disbaning at Sennett Middle School. Festa Italiana - Rockford, Illinois 2011 - A three-day Italian festival at the Boylan High School Grounds. Festivities start Friday evening at 5:00pm and conclude Sunday at 8:30pm. Iron Mountain Italian Fest - 6th Annual Iron Mountain Italian Fest. 12 noon - 11pm. Downtown Iron Mountain. Iron Mountain Street/East "A" Street Parking Lot. All proceeds from the festival will go to the Iron Mountain Main Street Program in order to serve their mission of economic development and historic preservation through community participation. Admission is $5.00. All tickets may be purchased the day of the festival. Live Music All Day! Inflatable rides and Bounce House for the children! Bocce ball! Face painting! Chalk Drawing! Festivale Italiano - An Italian festival in Hurley, WI. Enjoy Festival Italiano in style with craft and food booths, flea market, live music, demonstrations, the Marty's Goldennaires Senior Durm and Bugle Corp and the popular 50/50 raffle. Chicago Italian Expo 2011 at Navy Pier. Italian Expo is a unique and exclusive platform for exhibitors and sponsors from Italy and the U.S. to promote their companies, create international business relationships, and sell their products to their target audience over a three-day weekend.
