Preble Italian Class Celebrates Carnavale

Green Bay Preble High School logoThe Green Bay Italo-Americano Club celebrated an 'Italian Carnevale' style Mardi Gras. It was held at a local Italian eatery, Mario’s. Approximately 18 of Lisa Meli's (Italian teacher) students attended. Lisa had a contest within her classes of a traditional Italian Carnevale mask-making craft. She had many to display at the party. To the right is a picture of some of the students and Lisa with their masks.

Contact Lisa Meli, Italian Teacher, Preble High School at 920 391-2400 or lmeli@greenbay.k12.wi.us for more information.
