Join WisItalia

Anyone can join WisItalia, if you would like to promote the teaching of Italian in Wisconsin, as well as educating the public about the Italian language and culture.

WisItalia is not fundamentally a social club. See our Mission Statement to read about our goals and objectives.

Once a school introduces and incorporates Italian classes, it is often essential for the school or teacher to raise funds outside their school or program budgets, or to obtain Italian teaching materials not easily found in the United States.

That is where your experiences and expertise may be most valuable. Being a member of WisItalia means getting involved.

Become part of these committees where your involvement will be worthwhile to you and others:

How to Join

Fill out and submit the Membership Application (Word-fillable form), and email it to us at wisitalia.info@gmail.com.

NOTE: If you are a teacher or instructor of Italian and Italian-related courses, you are automatically a member of WisItalia. However, please provide us with your contact information if you have not done so already.

If you have questions or would like more information, address your questions to individual members of the WisItalia Board found on the Contact Us page, or email wisitalia.info@gmail.com.

Meeting Dates

WisItalia meets 3-4 times per year. The meetings are open to all WisItalia members.

For the schedule of meetings, refer to the WisItalia Meeting Dates page. Otherwise, communication is generally done through email correspondence and updates to the WisItalia website and Facebook.
