Victory to Perform at the Sons of Italy Scholarship Night

On Wednesday, August 18, 2010, from 6:00pm - 9:00pm at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee, the Filippo Mazzei Lodge of Order Sons of Italy will hold its annual scholarship awards night. To entertain the audience will be performances by the students from Victory Elementary School Italian Immersion Program.

Victory School Needs your Support

Victory has set up a request for resources to improve student organization and improve their small centers and group learning time. The organizational bin will provide each student with a location in the class to place their work. Currently students have folders that they place in one basket, but the students would benefit from having a spot to put their work and belongings. This is a example of what is needed.

Your donation will help provide their school with some of the basic materials to get organized. View the DonorsChoose.org web page (exit WisItalia) for more information.

DonorsChoose.org is an online charity connecting you to classrooms in need. This and all other projects at DonorsChoose.org have been submitted by public school teachers who seek resources that will help their students learn. Contributions are tax-deductible and donors hear back from the classroom they choose to support.
